Promised Land Art Festival Releases Agenda Update and Announces Ticket Contest!
Promised Land Art Festival, a premiere event for creative industry professionals from around the world, has updated its agenda with more details, including the tracks that attendees can participate in this September 8th–10th. A contest, with a winning prize of a full pass to the festival, is also underway.

Hosted in EC1 Łódź, a revitalized power plant now home to an artistic, cultural, and educational center in Łodź, Poland, the 6th edition of Promised Land Art Festival boasts a lineup of star artists from gaming, film, and beyond. The festival is organized around several tracks, all of which will offer attendees various perspectives into the creative process. The announced artist’s paths include:
- 2D and 3D Art, which features speakers such as Associate Art Director Émilie Beauchamp (Batman: Arkham Origins, Mortal Kombat 11), Senior Concept Artist Veera Hokkanen (Returnal), Character Artist John Crossland (Alan Wake 2), Lead Environment Artist Oscar Gonzalez (Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Marvel's Wolverine), Senior Lighting Artist Anna Roan (Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart), Freelance Illustrator Grzegorz Rutkowski (Horizon Forbidden West, Neverwinter, Magic: The Gathering), and Concept Artist Agata Skowronek (The Witcher: Path of Destiny, Cyberpunk 2077: The Board Game)
- Animation and VFX, whose speakers include Animator Victor Navone (Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Toy Story 3, Coco, Inside Out), FX And Look Of Picture Supervisor Pav Grochola (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Mitchells vs. the Machines), and VFX Supervisor Albert Szostkiewicz (Dune, Man of Steel).
- Technology, which will include a presentation from Richard Cowgill and Homam Bahnassi, representatives of the cutting-edge technology company NVIDIA.
- Audio, featuring presentations from Engineering Director, Management and Audio Colin Walder (Cyberpunk 2077) and Music Director Marcin Przybyłowicz (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt).
- Out of the Box, which contains unique talks that expand beyond traditional tracks, with confirmed speakers including Art Director Remi Nowakowski (GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty) and Director of Art Erol Kentli (Gears Tactics, Grid, XCOM).
Apart from lectures, the festival also offers hands-on workshops in a variety of mediums, like painting, sculpture and drawing, discussion panels, demos, and meet the artist sessions. Promised Land Art Festival has also announced a ticket contest based around designing a sticker themed after the festival. The top three winners will all receive prizes, with a full pass to the festival for first place, a day pass for second place, and a goodie bag and CD PROJEKT RED merch for third place. All three designs will receive an official print run and be given out to Promised Land attendees during the festival. Promised Land Art Festival is organized by CD PROJEKT RED and sponsored by Displate and On Lemon. Its partners include AMD, Editions Caurette, Get3D, IT Media, Prusa, SteelSeries, WACOM, Moonshine, and Modliszka studios. The event is held under the auspices of Łódź City Council as part of the “Łódź Creates (“Łódź Kreuje”) and "EC1 Łódź – The City of Culture" ("EC1 Łódź – Miasto Kultury") promotional programs.
