Futuregames Warsaw begins its educational courses on the CD PROJEKT campus

September 1, 2023

CD PROJEKT, in partnership with Futuregames, one of the most experienced game dev schools in the world, has announced that the first semester of the newly created Futuregames Warsaw school will begin on the Warsaw CDP campus on September 4th.

The purpose of the strategic partnership between CD PROJEKT and Futuregames Warsaw is to provide students with opportunities to start their career in game development and learn more about the game dev industry. The offered courses, which include game design, programming, and art, will take place in-person on CD PROJEKT’s Warsaw campus and will be conducted in English. During the two or two-and-a-half year program, students will create a total of four full games using professional equipment and software, while keeping full rights to the projects they create.

Thanks to the partnership with CD PROJEKT, the tuition fees for the first year of the program are 50% lower. For up to nine top students, CD PROJEKT will also fund a scholarship for the second year and offer a 30-week internship at the studio. CD PROJEKT will also fully fund the tuition for one of the mentee from the Dziewczyny w grze! (Girls in the Game!) mentoring program, which is organized in collaboration with Perspektywy Education Foundation.

Futuregames offers a wide range of courses for all abilities, from accelerated and up-skilling courses to full courses for those who are just beginning their journey in the video game industry. The school is one of the top game dev institutions in the world. Other than CD PROJEKT, companies which partner with the school include Avalanche Studios, King, Ubisoft, EA DICE, Starbreeze Studios, Hazelight, and Epic Games.

More information about the partnership between CD PROJEKT and Futuregames, including the full list of courses offered, can be found on Futuregames’ official website.
