The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Heroines Ciri and Yennefer Join Fortnite!

Two beloved heroines from CD PROJEKT RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Ciri and Yennefer, are today joining the roster of playable characters in Fortnite, with extra in-game challenges taking place to celebrate their arrival.

Ciri and Yennefer’s addition to the Gaming Legends Series in Fortnite follows Geralt, who managed to portal himself to the game’s Island earlier this year. Players can access both heroines via the Fortnite Item Shop starting today, as well as participate in Ciri’s Escape and Yennefer’s Battleground — two unique community islands created by Team Unite in collaboration with Epic Games — to unlock Ciri and Yennefer themed emoticons, as well as a unique banner available for completing both islands. Ciri’s Escape and Yennefer’s Battleground will be available until July 4 at 8:00 PM ET.

Ciri and Yennefer’s respective Outfits also come with their own built-in accessories that are unique to each heroine. Among them are the Zireael Back Bling for Ciri, included in her Outfit and doubling as the Zireael Sword Pickaxe when unsheathed, as well as the Bird Skull Back Bling for Yennefer, also built-in to her Outfit.
